Insomniac: Spider-Man 2 PlayStation studio victim of huge hack.

The 20th of October 2023 saw the release of the long-awaited 'Spider-Man 2', the recent piece de resistance from Insomniac Games, a video game development company that rose to fame thanks to titles such as 'Spyro' and 'Ratchet & Clank'. The game of the friendly neighbourhood spider has enjoyed considerable success from the start, establishing itself as one of the best games of the year just ended.

During the first days of December, the Insomniac company was targeted by a serious cyber attack, followed by a demand for $2 million - in exchange, of course, for the information obtained through the aforementioned offence. 

After publishing leaks online regarding a future Wolverine title, as well as some private information of the company's employees, the group behind the attack came forward. As seen before, the responsibility lies with the group Rhysida, the same one behind the attack on the British Library in recent months.
