An ‘Official Organization’ on X Is Just Openly Glorifying Hitler Now.

Twitter, or X, has undergone several changes over the past year. One of the arguably most useful additions is, undoubtedly, the "gold check": the typical blue symbol originally reserved for verified profiles, now available in other colors to identify nonprofits and government organizations. Unlike its original function, however, this symbol is now obtainable by paying a monthly fee - making its veracity completely fickle.

This infamous symbol, now in gold coloring, was seen next to an X profile called "Defund Israel Now." With 35 thousand followers, the organization appears to have no history whatsoever, just a simple website registered during November 2023. The account appears to support Palestine, but the pre-pretted actions show only a serious anti-Semitic mentality - in the last period, the profile has been filled with videos and comments clearly supporting Hitler.

It seems that X needs to implement changes regarding the distribution of the famous verification symbol: since it is now based on a subscription system, it is freely available to anyone who wants to gain a little more apparent credibility.
