Where deepfake technology is not needed, there is always artificial intelligence ready to help fraudsters and criminals. Recently, the site 'Onlyfake' came under the spotlight of the online world: for 15 dollars, it is now possible to generate identity documents that are so plausible that they pass the controls of the 'Know Your Client' process.

Driving licences, passports, identification certificates, on Onlyfake any document is within the reach of the fraudsters. They accept payments through multiple cryptocurrencies and, according to some users of the service, the results have passed the checks of Kraken, Bybit, Bitget, Huobi and PayPal. The owner of the site, using the pseudonym 'John Wick', reported that the photographs generated via the site also evaded Revolut's checks.

To justify its existence, Onlyfake presents itself as a service reserved 'for use in films, television shows and web illustrations'.
