Airbnb plans to use AI, including its GamePlanner acquisition, to create the ‘ultimate concierge’.

During November, the giant Airbnb acquired Gameplanner.IA, an artificial intelligence company created by the co-founder of Siri. Following this purchase, CEO Brian Chesky recently mentioned Airbnb's plans for the future, emphasising its intentions to focus on the application of AI within the company.

The goal is to build a particularly innovative AI interface, so as to modernise the generative systems currently on the market. More precisely, Airbnb intends to create the 'ultimate concierge', a technological support aimed at solving any problem that might arise for a customer, a virtual helper that truly knows the target customers and 'acts' to facilitate them.

As clear and outlined as these intentions are, there is still no certainty as to what will actually be put in place - especially considering the unfortunate tendency of AI to provide misinformation to users.
