'Memory' is the latest addition devised by OpenAi for ChatGPT, its artificial intelligence, which is now almost synonymous with the term itself. From now on, the service mentioned will have an added function: it will keep a memory of who the user is, how they work and what they like.

The idea of a permanent memory, within the vast world of the Internet, has always been a double-edged sword: on one hand, it offers the possibility of preserving information, data, and content without having to worry about their transience; on the other hand, however, this kind of preservation would soon become too much for human beings, reaching a state of 'omniscient entity' that humanity is already afraid of.

This added function therefore presents itself as a considerable development of the system, the consequences of which are as yet incomprehensible. Could an artificial intelligence with memory become something too 'human'?
