Elon Musk says all Premium subscribers on X will gain access to AI chatbot Grok this week.

March ended with a "festive week" for those users of X (formerly known as Twitter) subscribed to its Premium version, as the platform's CEO gave them access to Grok, his AI chatbot.

Earlier this month, Elon Musk had announced his intention to make Grok open-source and granted access to all Premium+ subscribers, in a move presumably aimed at competing more directly with other currently popular candidates, such as OpenAi's ChatGpt and Anthropic's Claude.

The recent development could be a 'gentle' push towards increasing the number of subscribers, so as to generate some financial reward and return on usage - the news comes at a time when data indicates that the social media is struggling to keep users loyal to its platform.
