Samsung-Backed AI Image Generator Produces Nonconsensual Porn.

Leonardo AI, one of the most widely used artificial intelligences in the Internet world, has recently come under the spotlight thanks to a successful fundraising effort, reaching the impressive sum of 31 million dollars. Another reason for the sudden attention towards this image generator lies behind the ease it offers in creating visual content: such as explicit images of numerous celebrities.

Unfortunately, this situation is not exactly new: for months, there has been talk of a series of artificially generated images depicting the famous singer Taylor Swift in what is now defined as non-consensual pornographic content. This situation, as mentioned above, involves several celebrities, but the software used is different.

What was not allowed on Civitai (the AI used to generate the images of Taylor Swift), is also prohibited on Leonardo AI. Nevertheless, avid users have managed to bypass the generator guidelines by sharing their results on Telegram.
