The accessibility to culture and information is a right of any human being, and it should be easier to convey education through the billions of networks and technological supports available today. Nevertheless, two giants of the vast internet world, Meta and Google, have recently been accused of hindering the diffusion of information on abortion and reproductive healthcare in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Two non-profit pillar organisations in the field, MSI Reproductive Choices and the Center for Countering Digital Hate, recently stated that the two mentioned platforms restrict clinic advertisements supporting abortion processes, but do not address the misinformation that threatens public access to reproductive healthcare.

Furthermore, they pointed out that the use of terms related to 'pregnancy options' and contraceptive methods are, according to the platforms, violations of the guidelines.
