Paedophiles create nude AI images of children to extort from them, says charity.

The Dark Web hides content that most Internet users would never imagine, such as a manual containing an entire section on encouraging criminals to use 'nudification' AI applications to remove clothes from underwear photos sent by minors. It goes on to point out that photos obtained by artificial intelligence could be used to blackmail the victim into sending more shots.

This horrifying discovery was recently shared by the charity IWF (Internet Watch Foundation), accompanied by a statement claiming that the situation under consideration is the first evidence of paedophiles advising each other to use AI for their own purposes.

The association is concerned with finding and removing child pornography content online and, last year, had already pointed out the serious consequences that AI could bring to the field.
