History teaches, but only if we're willing to learn. Artificial intelligence is a tool of unlimited potential, a resource capable of speeding up billions of processes, of finding alternative solutions to the scourges plaguing humanity - if, and only if, it is used conscientiously; unfortunately, it is clear that this is not always the case, at the moment.

In order to create quality stories, television programmes, books and films, it is essential to let the professionals work, human beings who know how to touch the hearts of the viewers - no matter how advanced, artificial intelligence cannot construct a narrative so prestigious that it surpasses the pen of the craftsmen of the genre.

Nevertheless, this week, a company called Fable Studio announced the launch of Showrunner, the world's first AI-generated streaming service. Users will be able to write, animate and dub their own TV programmes using this technology.
