"Politics is too serious a matter to be left to the politicians." Charles De Gaulle's famous words seem particularly apt for the current situation, considering the eccentric personalities of those who decide to pursue a career in the field. This is, in fact, the case of a self-styled British entrepreneur who, determined to make a statement in the world of politics, has put himself forward as the nation's first 'AI MP'.

Steve Endacott, president of an AI company called Neural Voice, recently presented 'AI Steve'. The avatar, powered by artificial intelligence, is intended to answer voters' questions and concerns, acting as its owner.

The project is designed to provide the citizens of Brighton and Hove with 24/7 access to information, as well as the ability to express opinions and give feedback.
