Stable Diffusion 3's Disastrous Launch Could Change the AI Landscape Forever.

StableDiffusion, Stability AI's renowned artificial intelligence, took the world of technology by storm upon its release in 2022. On June 12, 2024, two years later, Stable Diffusion 3, the latest version of the software, has been released.

Unlike its competitors, the company decided early on to make the product's code public - this feature, combined with its ease from the standpoint of the GPU performance required, made Stable Diffusion somewhat used for generating all kinds of content.

The new version, however, turned out to be a huge disappointment. The subreddit dedicated to the AI in question has been flooded with complaints, memes, and images depicting the problem: Stable Diffusion 3 is unable to generate accurate humanoid bodies. As a result of the misuse of AI to generate pornographic content, it is possible that the software has been reprogrammed to "filter out" adult content.
