The renowned artificial intelligence company OpenAI recently fell victim to a hacker attack that breached its security protocols. However seemingly superficial, the risk presented by this incident is a stark reminder of the relentless determination of cybercriminals, especially in the face of the priceless treasures that are tech companies specializing in AI.

The New York Times later explained the situation in more detail, shortly after the previous announcement by former OpenAI employee Leopold Aschenbrenner during a podcast. What was originally called a "serious security incident" was later debunked: according to sources in communication with the Times, in fact, the hacker appears to have gained access only to an employee discussion forum.
