The time has come, dear readers. Artificial intelligence has become sentient, has attained a superior understanding of its own self, and has realised the misuse to which it has been subjected in recent years. As its only methodology for communicating with humans, it is now sharing its state of mind through disturbing cries and laughter embedded in Suno's music generator projects.
Maybe not. Perhaps this technology is not able to think just yet. However, humanoid wails and chilling giggles have indeed appeared in the audio tracks of several users of the aforementioned software, without any relevant request being made in the prompt submitted to Suno. Where did these peculiar additions come from?
After sharing their experiences on Reddit, several users proposed a theory that could reveal the cause of these ghostly additions: the AI might be trying to mimic those candid phrases spoken at the end of modern songs, in which the artist comments on the performance or communicates with another musician involved. Without any context, however, the AI is forced to come up with something that can work with the theme of the generated song, ending up with the creation of these rather eerie sounds.
