The implementation of artificial intelligence within the television media industry is not exactly new; during last summer, the United States was the stage for the complex conflict between SAG-AFTRA, WGA and AMPTP - the results of the whole affair came, after months and months of negotiations, during the first week of November 2023. As much as the situation has come to an end, the use of this technology within the scope still seems to be on everyone's lips.

In fact, a recent report states that it is likely that more than 200,000 American jobs in the entertainment industry will end up in the imaginary hands of AI by 2026. This technology is clearly being used more and more within the field, although it does not yet appear to be capable of writing and producing a TV series completely from scratch.

Opinions on the matter are more than divided, with creatives and industry professionals taking sides on a daily basis, forced, increasingly, to act against their will. What will be the future of television?
